Sencha Tea Co.: what do users think?

Litzy Xu: Worst Milk Tea Bubble Tea I ever had, it was extremely sweet. I think they were still learning how to prepare the tea and no one supervised on them on how to prepare a proper or drinkable bubble tea.

John Badawi: This new tea shop brings me a lot of joy for having another good option for bubble tea. It’s located behind PF Chang’s. The place is nice with it’s fancy decors and good lighting. There few chairs outside if customers would love to stay. I appreciate their Sakura bubble tea. I was looking for jelly toppings but it seems they only have tapioca pearls for extra. But fine enough. They also have other choices for tea lovers who want either a cold or hot beverage. Price is really affordable. Customer service could be improved. So, 4 stars for Sencha Tea Co. 💕

Nicole Gamboa: This is the best bubble tea I ever had. This was just another level. I went with my little sis and my best friend. When I finished my tea I had to buy another one! My favorite was the Sakura tea, it had a really nice scent because the jasmine it has 💗 I loved that the price was the same even if u wanted almond milk and not the regular one. So it is cool if someone is lactose intolerant.

Saeid Moslehpour: They have bubble tea is good

Tommy Dye: Very quick service, a great selection of teas!

VJ: Best bubble tea I have had in a while. They had a 2 for 1 deal as well that made it even better.

Margaret Davies: Great product with quick service.Wheelchair accessibility: Good access.

Andrés Bolaños Herce: I went to had by tapioca pimpkin spice tea, and when they were billing me they told me they ran out of tapioca, and still got charged full pricedPlus: The cup was 1/2 ice 😭☹️

Sencha Tea Co.: what do users think?

Sebas Garcia: Great selection of tea! I tried the bubble tea and it was great! They have several different flavors, all of which look pretty good. And the best thing is all of the teas can be made with different milk options, so there are lactose free and vegan options for every tea! The staff was very nice, and they prepared my order really fast! Besides, I think the prices are ok, since you pay what this kind of tea of tea usually costs.

Sherri Clearlake: Great selection of tea and friendly staff. Make sure to get your frequent-buyer card!

Israel Bitran: Excellent shopping experience. Very friendly attentive staff.

Andres Rodriguez: Delicious tea! Great service!

Andrea Saborío: Good variety of teas...

Gerardo Espinoza: Coco taro tea... Excellent!!!

Haruku CR: The best tea shop in Costa Rica, it has exceptional service with very well trained staff and not to mention the delicious variety of teas. If you are a tea lover, this is definitely your place!

Rhia S.: Very tasty drinks but they should have promotions from time to time. 2 drinks at c10,000 is very expensive.

Yomi Cake & Tea: what do users think?

Carlos: Everything looks really delicious and they do have a lot options. I went for the fluffy creamy cake, which was pretty good. Next time I will try the mango pudding. Cash or card payment is available

WolfHowlX1: The taste warrants a 5 star rating but the very slow and clumsy service dropped the 1 star. If you have an hour to spare in line while in "barrio chino" and are craving some of the best sweets in costa rica, this is your place. Strawberry cheesecream tart is quite impressive, the best amongst others we tasted here. Bubble tea is better and larger (for same prize) at "Wikiped", a block down the street.

shirley liu: Super good cake

David Bolanos: Very good drinks and desserts, depending on the time and day expect a line to order.

Melvin A: Delicious boba tea, this is where I always get my mango tea, ladies are so nice.

jeanne wisler: WOW, dessert was great, bubble teas very good.

Tiff: Love coming here

Nestor Vargas Vega: Delicious

La Mancha: what do users think?

Al Fuentes: First I want to qualify this review by telling you that I’ve had coffee all around the world. It is one of the main reasons why I travel. This coffee place is legitimately at the top of the list! If you want a true Costa Rican coffee experience then you have to come here. The owner, Alberto, gets his beans directly from the farmers and roast them himself! The freshness of the coffee and the quality of the bean from the Tarrazú region is second to none. Also, it is perfectly roasted to bring out all of the best flavors. Most of Costa Rica’s coffee is exported, so it is hard to find a true local coffee shop. Like a true specialty coffee shop, there are multiple brew methods and you can even take a bag of coffee home with you. If you’re looking for environment, La Mancha is centrally located yet tucked away off the busy street with plenty of seating, good music, and kind, attentive staff. Honestly I could go on but you will have to just come for yourself. You will not be disappointed. By the way this post was unsolicited and I am not affiliated with La Mancha. I live in the USA. I just came here on vacation and fell in love with this place.

William Viquez: Both espresso and cappuccino were perfect. Balanced espresso with floral hints and soft aftertaste. The cappuccino’s temperature was spot on, and the milk-espresso ratio was just right. I also tried the empanada Argentina, it was good. I will revisit and recommend Café La Mancha.

Rachel Kleitches: Alberto, the owner, is amazing and so friendly! This coffee shop is a MUST if you are looking for great local coffee in San Jose. The atmosphere is also nice and relaxing. I already can’t wait to go back.

Amal W.J.E: Great cheese cake !!! Good coffee! Fair prices , nice staff and great ambiance. There’s a courtyard shared with other establishments and a stage where bands jam.

Carlos: Beautiful place, the coffee shop is inside the building. The Cappuccino has a good taste, unfortunately the oat milk was too sweat.

Jade Laneuville: The cappuccino crema irlandesa is the best I ever had. Every time I go in San Jose I have to stop drink my special cappuccino. + the place is so beautiful.

Cord Thomas: Great little cafe in the center of San Jose. They even have almond milk which is a huge bonus! We had a vegan latte that was fantastic, and their iced cappuccino, which surprised us that it was sweet, but was still very good. Quite a lot of sketchy individuals coming in and out of the courtyard though. Would have preferred to sit inside. In any case, very enjoyable experience and they dealt with our bad Spanish very well.

Antoinette Ady: Came here for coffee, also got caprese empanada. SO GOOD. 5 stars because I wouldn’t change a single thing. Great job, La Mancha.

Sencha Tea house: what do users think?

Abby Shih: Lots of options, not too pricey, and the boba is great! Only thing is that they close pretty early on the weekday, at 7:00 pm.

gerardo C: They offer a wide selection of tea flavors and tasty combinations. The staff was very polite and proficient. They provided fast service in a warm atmosphere!... No parking lot there, though

Natalia Gómez: I really like their teas, they have great selection and the place is pretty. The staff though, not quite there yet

Felipe Prada: 🔥💯

Sharon Maltez: After a year of working nearby I decided to try the place, I found it extremely expensive for what it is, the girl threw away the tea by mistake and instead of starting from 0, she only cleaned the glass on the outside and continued doing it where the portions were already and the presentation were not going to be the same. I regret the money I spent

Paolo Ortega Umanzor: Shop specializing in the sale of tea and products for its consumption either casually or as part of a lifestyle. House blends recommended, particularly Sunrise Green Tea and teas for on-site or take-out

Jorge Acon Ho: The excellent teas ... the bad thing the bathroom did not have toilet paper

Bubbly Tea Club: what do users think?

Jeremy Molina: Hard to find a good bubble tea in Costa Rica, happy to say that this is a good place where you can find one.

Jackie He: Coming from Melbourne Australian with many authentic bubble tea shops, I’m surprised to find a decent bubble tea shop in Costa Rica! I got the vegan option jasmine milk tea with pearls and jellies, even better than the ones I had in LA! Especially good on them for cooking the pearls right, soft yet chewy! Deliciosos!!!

Dominique Viquez: Best Thai Tea in Town 💯

Stefan Koch: Very good. I took the classic jasmin milk tea with tapioca. Big amount of bubbles.

Kattia Chaves: Loove it each time is like the first one!!!

sam crow: The original tea is really good!

Maria Nicole Aguilar Cordero: One of the best bubble tea just amazing

chencomparte: Bubble tea has become very popular in the country, however I feel that it does not suit them in all places. Bubble Tea Club is one of my favorite places to buy the drink. They offer a fairly extensive menu, the vast majority of its ingredients are vegan and I like that one can choose the sugar level. So far, all that I have bought, I have liked a lot, I do not feel heavy or past sweet. They also offer the option of adding extra jellies and bobas. My favorite flavors: matcha and chai.

I'm the Last: The best Bbubleteas in the country, why? Why they were the pioneers and why the recipe is the closest thing to the original Taiwanese recipe. Flavors that stand out, vegetable milk made by them, fresh bobas and a huge variety of flavors. Nothing to do with the diluted waters of Senchea for example. The place is small but cozy and although I would like another branch, I know that they want to maintain their identity. The shopping center has full parking.

Cesar M: Perfect balance between quality and prices, they have good flavors although I wish they had more variety of toppings.

Tea Bar by Sencha Tea Co: what do users think?

Fernanda Calderon: Hello! I just want to make a recommendation, it turns out that today I went to the store that is in Pinares Place around 1 in the afternoon, the two girls who attended us had zero willingness to help and answer questions, they made me face when I told them that It was better not to put sweetener on me, when the contents of the glass spilled they did not flinch, they just watched me and did not look for a way to help, I recommend improving customer service because they definitely do not motivate me to go back and even less to buy or try something new from their menu since their indifference and lack of encouragement puts you off! Today was a bad experience with you!

Steph Alvarez: I have never had any problems, I loved shopping, however, the last time I bought my bubble tea was at the se pinares place store and apart from the fact that the girls are extremely arrogant, I got a cockroach leg in my drink which made me I would get sick of disgust, for this reason I will NEVER buy in any of the stores again!

Danilo Solano: The drinks were not rich. The price is too high for something that anyone can do at home. They take too long to prepare the orders.

Gissell Urbina: Delicious you!

The price for my [Venti] Very Berry Refresher was about $5 USD and of course, free WIFi was available and super fast. The location is a busy shopping area with plenty to see and do 🇨🇷😍#lovejonezin on YouTube

Orion Huxley: Very bad coffee experience. I visit Starbucks for its strong, consistent, and good coffe everywhere I go. This store served the worst coffe I ever had at a Starbucks. Customer service is mediocre. Ambiance is fine. Wonderful location.

Mirley Vega: My husband and I really enjoyed our time here. Food was tasty, the place was cozy, and customer service was on point. It is a little noisy because it is located in one of the main boulevards in San José, but the view is great. 👌 You can go here for a quick hot or cold drink, take your laptop with you, and enjoy your time there with nice pastries and sweets. 😋

louis yagera: Decent restaurant in San José. Food is ok , portion are large. Price is fair.

Cristian S.: Great atmosphere, friendly staff, clean restrooms and great food! Great place for breakfast!

Anny: First time I came here I ordered Cafe con leche, croissant and apple strudel and they were amazing. The baked goods were nicely toasted, especially the croissant. The second time I came here I had a different experience. I ordered the same coffee but it wasn’t hot enough. I had the potato strudel and apple strudel and both tasted like they were microwaved leaving the texture too soft. Needs consistency here.

Logemann Wissanee: Good view and service!! We came here for coffee and Churros. It was pleasant to have a seat and enjoy the coffee here.

J T: Courteous service and lots of patience while serving our group of student tourists. Plus, the frozen coffee out of this world. Really, this place is a source of unquestionable quality goods like chocolate, coffee, nuts and seeds, and more.

Lorna O. Davison: My favorite place for cappuccino in San Jose.

Ace Handler: Very nice spot on Independence Day, not too busy and good coffee & treats. Good place to watch the Ticoaction 🙂

Starbucks Los Yoses: what do users think?

Michael Wurm: This is reliable and known Starbucks Quality. Not a place for inexpensive food, but a place for their well known quality and also their their professional and attentive staff. 🙏🏻 Good and stable WiFi, allowing to do some remote business activities. They also allowed MAX, my service dog, to accompany me inside and he truly enjoyed their tripple cheese baguettes. 😘

Jelmer R: Plenty of space to sit with nice atmosphere.

Nathan Yagi-Stanton: The cashiers are always very friendly and almost always speak both Spanish and English. The WiFi is very fast here so it’s a nice place to get a lot of work done. There is plenty of seating especially in the lower section. The standards seem to be set high and the staff always deliver a great experience. I don’t think I’ve ever seen the staff not having fun with each other or having an interesting conversation with the customers.

Brandon Gutierrez.: Nice and clean, the whole place smells like freshly grounded coffeeFood: 3/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Jenny Jarell: Very nice cozy Starbucks... best in town for sit down experienceFood: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Carlos Medina: Trusted the world over for good Internet and a comfortable place to spend a few hours, this place offers a spot of first world comfortable in San Jose. Come try the local variations on Frozen drinks, breakfast sandwiches and chill for a while under the AC while you charge your phone in between touristic activities.

Jeanne White: I come to Costa Rica and San Jose at least once a year, and I stay within walking distance to this Starbucks. It’s always clean and the employees are very pleasant even though most do not speak English. The menu has a few specialty drinks that are not available in the USA. If you’re in the area, you should definitely check it out!

Terry Davis: Great customer service and clean

Juan Valdez: what do users think?

OMAR JALAL: Wow, this coffee is amazing! I’m a Starbucks fan but as a first time visitor I like to try the local stuff; this local coffee tastes amazing and is not less than Starbucks coffee quality…. 👍👍👍👍👍

Mugurel Andres: Nice coffee place, tasty snacks and coffes.. bags of colombian coffee to buy as a present as well. Clean and friendly staff..

Kenneth Rivera: good coffee, made by real baristas! Expensive but in range as per cafeterias in the area.

Sergio Guillen: The coffee is really good. The baked goods did not look all that fresh or yummy, so we passed (there is a Giacomin across the street) . The breakfast is "fast food-like" served in a no frills cardboard rectangle with plastic cutlery. The arepas were tasty, but I missed the classiness of at least plates. The prices were very affordable. Health safety measure were well kept. We felt at easy, unlike in some of the too crowded restaurants in the area. So plus and cons rather balanced in my view.

Restaurant Critic: I tried the double espresso shot and their coffee is really good. I enjoyed it. I will try again and probably buy some beans from here as well. Service was fast and very attentive. Place had some people in it as they were having some coffee and cup cakes as they serve stuff like that as well. Highly recommend

Francisca Perez: We loved the coffee, service location and price ok.

Spencer Saunders: This is a wonderful place to have a coffee with a nice environment

Nicholas Alexander: Really great coffee chain. Grab some to take home it is very good. Cafe nevado is nice as well.
