Diego Armando Montoya Vargas: The place is a bit hidden and has no sign that can be seen from the main street. When you are arriving you must call to open the electric gate and drive to the end of the property. In general, the attention of the place is very good and the products they offer are of high quality. It has access for people with reduced mobility.

Vitaly Tarasov: Best selection of packaged goods all around. Decent produce choices, although could be better. Many baked goods. A lot of products from the US national brands.
Jennifer Adams: Auto Mercado is a great grocery store. You can find almost anything there. I love their wine selection.
Tatchai Titichetrakun: A supermarket chain in Costa Rica. If I had not found this place, I would not know that I need to boil pejiyabe before eating so this place saved my life a bit. The pejiyabes here are already boiled in salt water and even though they are not that expensive, they are much more expensive compared to pejiyabes sold in the market or cheaper store where the pejiyabes may not be boiled.
dikimi k: Well stocked store with much variety! Not sure about the other Auto Mercados, but this one has a deli cafe on the second floor. Access is from inside of the store. Offers nice sandwiches and drinks. Staff is very friendly. Provided a nice place to chill for a bit.

The Wheat Beer Taster: Pretty cool store with an immense product variety and a high quality. Also healthy fast food is offered and there is a big variety of different beer brands available. Was really interesting to go for shopping there.

Péter Csizmadia: Nice, organised supermarket like other AMs. AM is my place to go for shopping usually, coz general quality, service and cleanliness is way higher than others in CR.
Andres Zuniga: Upscale supermarket, it serves wealthy locals, you can find most American brands here if you are willing to pay extra. Amazing service top quality produce and meats. It has a bakery really good stuff.
Michael Wurm: Auto Mercado is always a reliable stop for all high quality grocery sourcing. This is a smaller shop but also with the same high end professional staff, willing to service their customers at excellence.
Didi Grooves: I agree with others who say this automercado is small. It is, but it cover the basics, including the Braggs Apple cider vinegar. :)
Francois Lefebvre: If your American, you will love this shopping experience. Very americanized style of atmosphere, clean, well lit, roomy, plentiful selections and a touch of European influences and foods.

H T: A very similar experience to the other Automercados. However a big negative could be the parking sharing with the whole mal. It can make it hard to find a spot, specially on busy dates. Good selection of imported goods, and good customer service.
Excel Wizard: AutoMercado (similar to AmPm but not to be confused with) is a great place to hang and do shopping. It includes a pharmacy within facilities, an ATM and many other benefits.
Melissa Salazar: The best part of this location is the coffee shop inside the supermarket. Having the option of having some snacks and coffee away from all the busy atmosphere of the mall and just before leaving Multiplaza is always a good idea. I just think that the order of the aisles position could be better.

Andrew Taylor: Well I decided to go to Walmart in Escazu to buy a 65 inch Samsung TV about $1000 and I was looking for a floor lamp also. I found one in a broken box and I said to the wonderful girl there maybe pieces missing and I want it but don’t want to take it home and then have to bring it back. So I said let’s assemble it to make sure and she and I spent 30 minutes doing this and I said let’s get a discount because of the condition. We assembled it and proceeded to the front desk and explained. They then got a manager who came over after 30 minutes to argue with about a reduction (they had no more in the store) He said it’s fixed who cares about the box and continued on for about 20 minutes so I left the store buying nothing.
Sandy Pasch: Huge store. Parking below store with the coolest escalator for your shopping cart to Go to your car or street. Friendly taxis everywhere. Wish we had this in the states. Prices were about the same as home. Many food options, not exactly all the brands you know at home but easy to improvise. People to help at almost every end of the aisles some speak English.

vMortzz-: I went to this walmart last Tuesday and it seemed quite large and well stocked. I bought and got what I needed. however I lost a lot, it is so large that it is easy to get lost. I would recommend that they arrange things better so that it is easier to locate inside of the premises.

Ed Price: Great local grocery market, with a good variety of consumer goods. Excellent selection of local beers and of snacks, as well. The staff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommended in downtown San Jose.
ScooterPuraVida! Steward: Public restrooms, clean, very inexpensive products, self check out, small with lots of everything. Bring your own shopping bag or sac. Quick easy in out, cheap.

Patricia Martinez: Supermarkets in these small towns are not what we are accustomed to in the USA. Standards are lower and should leave you feeling grateful for what we have. Please do not take this the wrong way as we 💘 Costa Rica and the wonderful people. This is our second one month trip here in 2 years and we totally enjoy our time here!
