Gerald Durán Ardón: Well, the place has a certain level, pretty girls but there are long gaps between dances which takes away some of its appeal. Another point is that the cover only covers 1 drink, which is not a problem because of the quantity, but there is a lack of beer being included as an option.

Matthias Klausing: I liked the atmosphere. Very welcoming place when I went there. If course you should keep your belongings close to you, because there are a lot of people. Top floor was Reggaeton, in the basement Techno. There is a nice terrace to cool down.
Juan Vasquez: Of all the clubs and bars in San Jose. Antik is the one i most frequent. Great atmosphere, regaeton up stairs Lounge in the middle floor to cool off, and techno all night long until 6 am downstairs. I freaking love this place Must have went atleast 40 times this year or more.
Merlina Padma: Really nice and very secure place! A beer could be between $4 to $3. Bathrooms are clean, and the events are totally awesome :)
Caro Rodriguez: Great party ambient, either latin with reggeaton and dem bow or electronic music, always a good selection of DJs to turn up the audience and sync in great energy.

Dakua Pesi: Thieves cruising near the crowded bar area, lost my phone today :(. Just took them 2 seconds while my hand was busy taking the drink. Security personnel was of no help whatsoever, and no one cared.

The way they mix music is a bit strange and inefficient in my opinion, there are environments that are noticeable that they do not pay the same attention and commitment as the others, so it is not very balanced in that sense. In general, it fulfills its mission which is to provide fun nights.

Kimalee Williams: The atmosphere is super classy which we loved but being charged $22.87 for one glass of Tequila is outrageous. We had two drinks and a bottle of water and left with a $75 bill. We were the only customers in the place the entire time.

I wanted to let you know that you ordered Casamigos Tequila, which is a premium drink and is exclusive to 9N Lounge in all of Costa Rica. We do have other less premium Tequilas but you ordered Casamigos so that is what we served you. I checked the prices of Casamigos mixed drinks at various lounge/clubs in Miami and New York and found that the average was $25.00 plus service/tip and tax. So in reality we are actually cheaper than your average lounge/club in Miami or New York. I hope that you will come back to 9N Lounge when your travels bring you back to Escazu, San Jose Costa Rica so we can make it up to you. Thank you for being a customer and we hope your next visit is better!
Just Kavanah: Terrible lounge. Dirty. Safety hazard. Visited the restaurant/lounge based on their reviews. I now understand why all of their reviews are from the company. They were out of a few bottles, took over 25 min to deliver food when no one was there, & had terrible customer service. Please see photos of how dirty this place was. Hookah burbs all over furniture & an open sockets on the floors. Don’t waste your time.
Response: Hello Just Kavanah, I am sorry that you had a unsatisfactory experience, I just wanted to comment that we have fixed the plug for the phone on the floor and we are restocked with many of the bottles. During the pandemic there were very drastic supply chain issues with many of the fine liquors due to customs back ups in the country. We tried our best to provide the best selection of liquors in Costa Rica and as restrictions and customs delays have lifted, we have been importing new liquors and restocking. The furniture and any safety hazards have been fixed and replaced and we have taken up with our staff about the wait times. Fortunately for us, we are a small business and business has been getting better since the pandemic so wait times for food and drinks during busy days are being reduced to normal levels now. I hope that you come to visit us again and we can show you how much we appreciate each and every customer.

Courtney Rushin: This was our first time visiting Costa Rica and we had a GREAT time at the 9N Lounge. If I could give 10 stars i would, everything was affordable and the staff was very friendly. Sergio, specifically was very helpful, really kind, and friendly he answered every question we had and he gave us advice on things to do while we were here. He laughed and joked with us and everything felt so comfortable that we lost track of time! We stayed until closing and even then, Sergio was still super nice and friendly. He even provided food for us at 2am when normal businesses close their kitchen at a certain time, he also sat with us until our Uber came. I would DEFINITELY recommend this lounge to any and everyone that’s looking for a chill, fun, and positive environment. We are definitely visiting again!! Thanks again Sergio and the staff.
Braulio De La Cruz: Not recommended. They let me standing in the middle of the bar without even gridding us. After having a seat, they don’t even have a menu. The waitress didn’t have a clue of anything to offer. After asking for a beer, she brought the wrong one. The hookah was horrible, weird taste. Never mentioned the prices. At the end, very pricey. Not worth it. Do not waste your time. Boring place. Waitress very unattended.
