Daniel Gil
Daniel Gil: It has a good variety of asian dishes that taste very authentic, but it is very pricey for the small amount of food you get

Restaurante Columbus coreano y japones 한국식당: what do users think?
Añuli C
Añuli C: This place was a mixed experience. Some of the dishes were good (Omurice being one of them) but the noodle soup (Champon Ramen) with pork and seafood was awful. It was probably the worst ramen I’ve ever had. The seafood in the ramen was very chewy and tasted as if it came from the freezer and not fresh at all. The noodles weren’t nice either. The servers were friendly but confused most of the time which table they were serving or bringing food to. I probably would not go back. UPDATE Unfortunately my partner I came here with has felt sick since last night after we’ve been here :(
Shakhnoza Muminova
Shakhnoza Muminova: Large portions, fast service, tasty food. I enjoyed it very much. Absolutely recommended.
Francisco Arroyo
Francisco Arroyo: Delicious Oriental food, generous portions. Warm attention.
Beckett Prado
Beckett Prado: Good food and cocktails... not the best Korean food but enjoyable and a nice change from other meals in San Jose
JT K
JT K: Definitely best in town. Absolutely delicious and one of the most authentic Korean and Japanese plates in town. The staff knows what they are cooking! Lots of to choose from and has a secure/private parking area and great ambient!
Kimberley Deen
Kimberley Deen: Really poor experience. The food wasn’t good at all. Don’t understand the good reviews. The noodle soup was tasteless with seafood that came from the freezer, not fresh at all and very chewy. Same for the noodles, bad seafood and the chicken was terrible too. Price quality is way out of balance. We paid about 9000 Colones per dish for low quality food. If you know how Korean food should actually taste like, don’t go here.
Andrés Orué
Andrés Orué: Amazing food for a good price. Try the bulgogi 🤤🤤
Tenam P.
Tenam P.: I ordered a beef kimbab to go to enjoy it on my travel back to Europe. It was super delicious and I also shared with my neighbours on the plane and both loved it too.

Korean food restaurant - Fritos: what do users think?
Daniel N. Lang
Daniel N. Lang: Wonderful Korean restaurant with delicious food. Like in Korea. I had the vegetarian bibimbap and got the common Korean side dishes as well as the sauce that you traditionally have with bibimbap in Korea. The staff was also very friendly and I talked to the owners who are expats from Seoul. The restaurant has WiFi available but at a very low speed of only 13 / 0.5 MBit/s
Mariya M
Mariya M: Not many vegan options but we made it work with the tofu + mushroom dish and vegetarian rice minus the egg. The portions were humongous! And so so delicious 😋Food: 5/5 | Service: 4/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Luisgus Fallas
Luisgus Fallas: The place is nice and clean. The service was attentive and friendly. The food came out surprisingly quick as well, we did not have to wait too long for our meal. I Order some Kimbap and Tteok-bokki The freshness of the ingredients really comes out in a Good Korean Meal. Both things I ordered were great and the portion is very adequate. They also offer 3 side dishes as a sample (Kimchi being one of them) and boy that Kimchi is Goood. I recommend! To close things, I ordered a Korean Tea made of green tea and rice water and it brought the meal together. I had a very pleasant experience at Fritos Will come back.
Añuli C
Añuli C: Tasty food especially the Osam bulgogi that I had as main. Friendly service too
Joaquin Vargas
Joaquin Vargas: Excellent Korean food in downtown San José facing The Jade Museum. The Bibimbap was delicious!
John Badawi
John Badawi: I really love their food! As a fan of Korean food, I would say that they are very authentic. The menu has good options—from bulgogi, to samgyeopsal, etc. But I think they had me with their tasty kimchi. The owners and cooks are Koreans which makes the experience more legit. They are so friendly to customers. Price is also reasonable. The only downside for me is the location. It’s by a meat shop so there are flies sometimes. But overall, I still give it 5 stars for the great K-cuisine. ❣️
Estefania Rmz
Estefania Rmz: It is a very good option for locals and foreigners. The dishes are very tasty, and generous portions. Clean, neat and the staff is friendly.
Panhaka Nou
Panhaka Nou: The food is amazing. I asked for very spicy and for the first time in Costa Rica, I had very flavourful spicy food. Best restaurant in CR for me.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 4/5 …More

Valeria Espinosa
Valeria Espinosa: The restaurant is managed by a very nice Korean couple, the service was super fast and the taste of the food was an authentic Korean flavor. 10/10, would always recommmed!
tjuedes
tjuedes: Food is great..prices are reasonable for the area. The portions could be larger. Food was very authentic..my husband is korean and he liked it.
Martina
Martina: I ordered from Miso and found their bibimbap pretty authentic, but their dakgalbi, which is a chicken dish, had only a little chicken in it. I did like that they gave kimchi as a side, which is a must with any Korean food.
Charlie Chou
Charlie Chou: Despite the simplicity of the decoration of the restaurant , the flavors are very authentic and the owners treat their clients with big smiles on their face even though Spanish can be difficult for them The price is fair for the amount of the food and the flavor is an extra point to it I am a frequent visitor to this restaurant and always love the dining experiences
Ghislaine Barahona
Ghislaine Barahona: Delicious and authentic! A Korean couple tends to the small restaurant, the food is as authentic as it can come and all completely delicious, no matter what you order you will be happy.
Dennis B.
Dennis B.: They rather watch tv than help their.customers. Ellos prefirieron ver tele que atendernos.

Kimchis Comida Coreana Escazu: what do users think?
Chelsea Dozier
Chelsea Dozier: I am Korean and the food is delicious and affordable! Be careful with paying cash if you do UberEats however. I was told that the driver never received my money (when I had also tipped him) and was charged twice. Definitely recommend the restaurant though!
Response: Thanks a lot!
Debbie SALAZAR
Debbie SALAZAR: We continue to be surprised by the international food choices found in the Central Valley of Costa Rica. We had heard and read positive recommendations for Kimchis in Escazu so we had to try it. After shopping at Mayca, we went to Kimchis for lunch. Our meals did not disappoint and we are already wanting to return. There are so many items on the menu we are dying to try. The restaurant also sells their in-house made kimchi in to go containers. Conveniently we found out that a new Kimchis Restaurant recently opened in Santa Ana Town Center which is very close to us and much closer than Escazu. We need to go check it out. I see more kimchi, sushi and Korean fried chicken in our future.
Response: Thanks a lot!!
Shakhnoza Muminova
Shakhnoza Muminova: Very unexpected surprise! Nice location, good food, quality service, reasonable prices.
Response: Thanks so much!!
Kay ValleGanev
Kay ValleGanev: Good food service too, they offer prepacked kimchi...2 types... They need more stuff on the menu but the things they offer taste good
Response: Thanks a lot! We are adding more menus soon including the korean liqour "SoJu"

Don Wu: what do users think?
Michelle Fonseca
Michelle Fonseca: First of all the food was so good, I personally don’t even eat meat, but this… I just couldn’t say no. The side dishes were so diverse, you get a wide variety of things you can eat, and repeat if you just can’t get enough. They offer a variety of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages, many of which are also traditional and enrich the experience. The staff was very attentive and fully educated in the culture of the food. The prices are a bit high, but well in the price range for these types of restaurants. Additionally, they also offer great combo options for larger parties. Overall 10/10 experience and excellent food!
Vero
Vero: Best Korean BBQ experience and unique in Costa Rica, side dishes were delicious, the grilled pork belly excelente and the egg volcano is super yummy!
Oscar
Oscar: Don Wu is what you would imagine a korean restaurant looks like after watching a K-drama. The food is delicious AND nutritious, the service is excellent and the prices are great for the food they serve. Truly an outstanding place!
DOT CR
DOT CR: Awful condescending service. This place doesn’t know Korean BBQ from Panda Express. The (tall main waiter) was literally smug with me and treating me like I was incredibly dumb. He was very rude The food was NOT GOOD and not to mention they cook on charcoal not gas so expect sparks flying at you randomly. The pork belly still had blue ink on it and was tougher than I’ve ever had. The meat was totally unappealing and I didn’t even bother touching or consuming it. I didn’t even want it to go and I left it. They still gladly charged me without even having concerns as to why I didn’t even want to eat their food. * Notable mention: they brought us an egg soufflé that looked absolutely atrocious and tasted as such. No one cared to ask if the food was ok or if we needed anything, literally felt like a cash grab. They gave us tiny plates and food didn’t fit in it. The fried chicken appetizer was good, the LA Galbi was good , everything else… well just to simplify, I left on the table, didn’t even bother to cook it and left it behind. Paid about $100 for 2 and totally a rip off. Don’t bother asking for hot sauce, they will insult you and line the bottom of a larger bowl to make it seem like more. ⚠️ AVOID AT ALL COSTS - WORST “KOREAN BBQ” I’ve ever had ⚠️ Shameless staff and ownership. If I could give 0 stars it would be more fitting.
Yessenia Acuña
Yessenia Acuña: We had the chance to talk with the waitresses and they told us about how carefully the owner chooses the meat quality and the side dishes are imported directly from Korea, also their utensils. I was amazed by this place and would recommend it to anyone.
sebastian Kev.
sebastian Kev.: If you simply want to experience Korean BBQ, it is true that there is no other choice in this area. But it is nonsense to be so expensive just for the experience. After all, it is a restaurant that sells food and service. Food should be properly served to guests. (The quality of service is out of the question.) A Korean-style barbecue that grills meat of that low quality at this price is not at all reasonable for customers.
Nao Cayasso
Nao Cayasso: I consider myself a bit of a Korean BBQ aficionado. Sadly this restaurant did not meet my expectations. The restaurant is cozy and clean but the food is average. The service was a bit slow. If you’re ordering the BBQ I recommend the Galbi Ribs.

Little Seoul: what do users think?
Tyler Van Arsdale
Tyler Van Arsdale: Really unimpressed with their food. Clearly not Korean. They were out of the two main dishes I really wanted for dinner, their kimchi wasn’t great, and the chopsticks were cheap wooden ones instead of metal (much more authentic Korean). Their pajeon (pancake) was a joke and felt like eating greasy batter chips. Don’t go here.

KOLOLO RAMEN: what do users think?
Gabo
Gabo: Best ramen in CR… and better than most of the recommended / classic spots in NYC, LA, SF, and South FL. Kimchis are great. Sake selection is small but fine / well-chosen. Pear infusion is delicious… and the wings are good. Ask for them with the least amount of sweetness possible.
Jordan R
Jordan R: No idea how this place has such a high rating. I got their beef noodles togo and was dismayed to find that it had only 4 small pieces of beef. Grossest part was that halfway through the meal I found a bug at the bottom of the food! 🤢 pics included. Shame on them
Kathy Hua
Kathy Hua: Yum! The service was attentive, the food came out quickly, and everything tasted great. Watch out for the spicy ramen, it’s really hot! If you like a more mild spice, I would recommend trying another menu item. The soy garlic chicken wings were wonderfully seasoned.
Pablo Garcia
Pablo Garcia: Delicious food. One of my favorites to have Ramen. I do suggest you make a reservation since it is usually full, specially during weekends. The service is also great. Parking: Underground
Luis Dominguez
Luis Dominguez: The Korean wings are great if you like spice ordered with the spice sauce. the Ramen broth was really tasty. The owners came to our table to explain the menu, good service. Ask for a cold sake, I’m going to get it to have it at home.
Federico Rivera
Federico Rivera: Yesterday night I went with some friends to this recommended place. People talked about that the chef is Korean and he offered a simple menu of main Korean dishes BUT the spicy pork ramen was a must-to-try. So I went for it and my expectations over exceeded. Nice tangy mushrooms, flavory broth, two kinds of pork in it and the noodles at the right point.

lucía santiago: Service was really nice, prices ok, the place was small but it’s a dark kitchen so understandable…The food was not authentic at all. Kimchi tasted like pickles, jeyuk bokkeum was like pork fajitas, bibimbap was bland and they didn’t use any gochujang. The pictures of food they post on ig are stock photos, so be careful not to fall for those as we did.

If he says yes, he either does not know Korean food, or if he knows the truth, he is selling fake Korean food to customers without conscience.
