Marlon Montoya: The worst customer service ever. Edit: Returning my call is a basic customer service gesture, not a favor. Not only is it the fact that she was on a "full schedule" she was upset because I asked for a cake almost a week in advance. Do not throw the phone, I said thank you very much and proceeded to hang up since he cannot provide the service for which he was going to be paid, he was not being asked a favor. There are many, many other places that have kindly provided a quote for the same request that was made to you. Places like this are destined to disappear fast due to their ignorance of the basic rules of customer service.
Response: I returned your call, this is a courtesy gesture. The fact that my schedule is full and I can't attend to your request is not for you to get upset. For the record, you threw the phone at me and I was not rude to you. Have a Merry Christmas and abundant blessings 😃🙏🏼. Calling back an unknown number to a found missed call is a courtesy gesture. You called for overnight service at a time when exceptions are not possible because we are overworked. You were always treated with politeness and courtesy. Susi Rivera: Very happy with the chocolate cupcakes, my son is allergic and we are exclusive breastfeeding, he has multiple allergies so it was difficult to find who could make the snacks taking into account all the restrictions and in a responsible way. They recommended Doña Gabriela and I loved them. Punctual, attentive and committed and the delicious snacks, despite all our food restrictions, the taste was spectacular. 💯% recommended!

Ingrid Carballo: I asked for a vanilla cake, casein free, without egg yolk, without seeds, gluten free, and I can say that it was really delicious, that it was fully met with what was requested and the best thing is the texture, there is no difference with a traditional cake. Lauren P: I haven’t eaten food like this since before I was diagnosed with Celiac’s. Everything in the store is gluten free and super well prepared. It’s hard to believe gluten free could be this good - flakey pastries! Pull-apart breads! I don’t know how they do it, but it’s incredible. I bought loads of pastries and ate them throughout my week-long trip, and I never got sick.
Tim Farkas: Tasty GF treats! We got so many goodies here and for a reasonable price! We got cheese breads, empanadas and apple pastry’s. From what we’ve eaten so far it’s been pretty tasty!
Jenny Trasler: Travelled to San Jose from UK, and this little bakery was a godsend. The best GF croissants that I have ever had, plus loads of other delicious cakes and other stuff.

Sabrian Trips: I was really looking forward to trying the gluten and dairy free baked goods, but honestly every type of bread and cake I tried was dry and flavorless to the point of not being worth the calories of consuming. Coffee was really really good though!

Kate Hayward: A rare find. A high quality gluten-free bakery tucked into a small shopping center on Calle Viejo. Their gluten free pizza is great! They have other -free options. Such as lactose free ice cream and egg free desserts.
Dan Ken: Ordered a chicken wrap. 10 minutes later we hear the microwave go off. Out comes rotisserie style shredded chicken in a gluten free tortilla. No sauce, no vegetables, literally just chicken wrapped in a tortilla. Nothing in the pictures is on the menu anymore, the interior is not even the same place. Also, there was about 4 slices of cake in the display, none of the goodies that are shown in previous google posts.
Response: It could have been a nice detail from you to ask first (as other tourist do) if the menu remains the same as appears in images in google. When people do this, is because they are aware that the Covid 19 had had effects on the businesses so, they understand that the business had to take measures in order to keep open. Our recommendation for you will be, with all due respect, that you talk directly to the people in other restaurants and ask what do the dishes have, or show the pictures of what you are looking for. You help business to grow or improve when you talk, not when you just write a post and leave it behind.

Paula Rodriguez: Gluten free options but expensive and average quality. Bad service, they overcharged us in addition to not having good treatment. The super small and expensive cup of tea.

Al Flore: A rare find in San Jose! Place is nicely decorated maticulesly clean and all the foods are fresh! They have a good size menu for breakfast & lunch. If you like foods with a touch of Mediterranean, this is your place!
Frau Aydin: Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious eggs, generous fruit bowl, fresh bread and the highlight - the Turkish tea!

Oni Giri: One of the best location in the cool Escalante neighborhood to just have breakfast/brunch while the people watching. The locals agree as evident by the constant traffic in/out of this deli. If you have to order one food I would have to highly recommend Sahada with Huevo con Chorizo. It’s a local version of two eggs on a hot pan with local ingredients such as chorizo and some kind of sauce which is yummy They also have their selection of bakery obviously
Lydia Lee: Super cute spot with lots of pastries within walking distance of our room. I had a delicious croissant sandwich and blended mocha coffee. I wish I could go back now, but I’m in Florida.
Juan Fernandez: Great place for a cafe, breakfast or light lunch, the bread is beyond words(comes from a bread lover) and the place is small and cozy. The cold drink options are a bit limited but the ones there are great so no problem.

Verny Rojas: It is ok but really pricey
Jorge Rodriguez: OLD CAKES. Caramel cake without sugar, without flavor and with an extremely dry and aged appearance at the moment of eating it. It looked like a cake that had been made for several days, despite the fact that they make them on request. These are things that should not happen, because they ruin the activities, such poor quality food with a high price.
Lucrecia Mora: The food is delicious and the most important thing is that the menu has all the nutritional information. Excellent for diabetic and hypertensive people. Finally a healthy place.
