Andrea Barboza: The online course is highly interactive, structured and effective, the 3 programs offered are very different from other programs. (English, Spanish and Portuguese)
David Luna: Excellent site to learn English, they have a different methodology and they make you start speaking much faster than the traditional ones. They are very well located, provide excellent service and their attention is first class. One of the best sites to learn English. They have parking and good facilities.
Ana Victoria Brenes: It is an excellent Academy to learn English, Portuguese and I think Spanish too. My daughter learned English there and now works in a company where she only uses the English language!

David Sh: The best place to definitely learn English. The only thing is to adapt to the system and always speak English in order to improve. There are no tasks which is good. But you have to do "your part". Totally recommended.

In addition, the school is such a beautiful and quaint place to study, feel comfortable, and meet wonderful new friends from around the world (not to mention the food is delicious). I grew so much in my Spanish speaking ability and I’m grateful for such a wonderful experience!
Rachel Navarro: I studied here for a month in 2015. It was an unforgettable experience! The teacher was friendly and we had a small class size. My host mother was caring and I always felt safe- even on the excursions. This is a once in a lifetime experience that I would recommend to anyone!
Maddy Steel: Within one week of taking courses here, I understand the concept of the language more than I have ever before. I was in a beginners level course with 3 other students where the instructor worked closely with each of us and I felt comfortable asking questions as much as I needed. The lessons are designed in order to learn quickly and effectively because they encourage you to apply the concepts we have learned through conversational practicing. This academy is very well done and all the instructors are patient and spend close attention with every student! I would highly recommend CRLA!
Ernst-Barlach-Gymnasium Unna: I have been taking groups of (German) high school students to CRLA since 2008. Costa Ricans speak a very “slow“ Spanish, which makes it easier for beginners to immerse into Costa Rican culture. Professional Spanish clases, great host families that really care for the kids and great help through the front desk team when it comes organizing and booking trips throughout the country. If you want to learn Spanish and get to know both the country and its culture / people, you will not find a better school.

JI SA: Terrible experience, I paid online for the English belt test and they never sent the link to take it. I called multiple times reporting the problem and they just promised me it would come and it never did. A few days later they sent me a French test that was not what I paid for and what I needed. Impossible to recommend them.
