Victor: Great bar with great music. Surprisingly found out they had three different drinks based off of fernet, all tasting good. Not too expensive either, in relation to how fancy the place feels.

Collin Konja: We went to the Rabbit Hole in the basement with Regatone music and it was nice, but wanted to go to the upstairs to hear the electronic music. Although we were all allowed into the Rabbit Hole, they let my 3 friends in and not me upstairs. I figured that they had a max capacity situation, but when asked, the security pointed at the camera and said "my boss". My friends came over and used a translator to make sure he understood and he simply kept reiterating "my boss"....Thought it might be shirt, but were letting many people in with similar clothes. Was very disappointed with how I was treated for no good reason.

Haley Clem: The drinks were excellent! I had the tajin margarita and my sister had the bang bang. We speak very little Spanish and the staff was very gracious with us. Love the fun atmosphere!

Gin tonic is supposed to taste, and the waiter only answer was "you will have to pay so you should drink it". Anyway I ordered another one which was drinkable, not amazing, totally overprice. Not visiting ever again.

Tom Bombadill: The burgers and beers here are the best thing that can happen to you in San Jose. Such an incredible experience I wish I could get a flight back and go again! The meat is more tender the voice of Frank Sinatra who serenades you gently in the background of the restaurant. My girlfriend got the falafel salad and it was fresh and perfectly seasoned. Everything handmade. They even have local sour beers that are top quality. Incredible service.

Sarah Spinelli: Absolutely wonderful experience. The atmosphere is charming with some true apothecary roots and vibe. There are plants hanging from the ceiling in the skylights, the bar is always busy, and the food is incredible. The jazz music playing over the speakers is perfection and really goes with the ambiance. Such a lovely Saturday night experience! If you enjoy adult beverages, get the Penicilina and get your camera ready. Won’t spoil the surprise, but that’s really neat. Go eat and drink here - you won’t regret it.

The matcha latte was sweet and bitter just the flavor you would expect from matcha latte, cheesecake was light, sour and sweet with a nice consistency. The service was good, the waiters are attentive, always serving us water whenever we ran short of it. We still have to try their brunch and more options from their menu. Prices are just the average prices you will expect to find in Barrio Escalante.

Anton Hoynck Van Papendrecht: Simple decorated bar with an ok view-ish. Would not call it a rooftop bar myself. The bar looks nice though, and the gin tonic was actually really good. We ordered (off menu) a gt with orange and rosemary, which was no problem for them and it turned out amazing. Would recommend to go here just for a drink, but make sure it’s the gin tonic!

Aquil Nabizadah: Cool vibes for a date night or somewhere to grab drinks with a small group before dinner. The cocktails were awesome and liquor selection was nice. In terms of finding it… it does make it exciting. Follow GPS instructions to the location but don’t actually go into the mall. The surface parking lot you arrive at is where the bar is hidden underneath in the garage. take the staircase down to the garage level (Garage D - hence D Bar”), enter the garage and immediately look to your right.. across the way there is a narrow hallway. Nathan Yagi-Stanton: We came in for St. Patrick’s Day and even though the place was absolutely packed they were still extremely efficient at serving everyone and keeping the place clean! We ordered some chips for a snack with our beers and they were somehow able to find us in the thick crowd and served us hot, filling potato wedges with a delicious curry ketchup. We saw a number of burgers come out of the kitchen that looked incredible. Will have to come back and try one!

Today I went with my girlfriend and we both were really disappointed since the fries with chiken that used to be great were really awful and expensive, the drinks smaller and more expensive, even the pizza, which used to be in my opinion one of the best in the country, is definitely not the same...
Sukh Vairea: Bartender was very rude. Maybe he should get a job where he does not need to interact with humans. Had to walk out of this place. By far the poorest service in San Jose. Try Ozzys around the corner - much better vibe and friendly staff.

Sergio Salas: There is large assortment of beers from around the world, the prices are very reasonable and the food is tasty. The place was once a house or several, and was remodeled to accommodate different spaces catering to different needs and group sizes.
