A W: The breakfast menu has a good mix of Tico and International options. My family each got something unique and I enjoyed all of the plates, particularly the Nordic omelette. Service was quick and the people working there were warm. Thank you!

Renate Buitelaar: Great place for breakfast! Everything was delicious, specially the pancakes and omelette.

BumbleBee: Super spot! Can only recommend. Busy so had to wait a little for a table (15 mins at at 09:40 on a Saturday), but we’ll worth it. Had the French Canadian Benedict dish. Amazing! Lovely staff.

Кристина Одиноченко: Amazing huge cappuccino. One of the best in Escalante. Handmade cheesecake with soft warm caramel. Beautiful garden. Chargers. Nice music and atmosphere. Don’t forget your QR code to enter that place.💚👌

Kimberly Martin: Great French restaurant with a bakery/breakfast also. Very nice, very French ambiance. Good for multiple occasions. Nice bar. Food is excellent. Good service! In downtown San Jose area. Was walkable from the cavallini dental Clinic. Been here many times and keep Coming back. Such good food and ambiance. Had salad, corvina and salmon. Profiteroles for dessert. Aperol Spritz for drink. Can’t go wrong here. Can even grab dessert from the bakery. Highly recommend. $50 pp for 1 drink each, 1 app, 2 fish dinners and 1 desert shared for 2. Left super full amd with leftovers. Can’t wait to try the French onion soup next time. Our hotel includes breakfast from here. Just love.

juan carlos Borbon: The service was awful, they forgot to provide us with water, napkins, cutlery... We ordered a sirloin steak that was cheap and poor quality. Fries coming with it, were re-fried and made 4 hours ago, burnt and salty. Unexistent choice of sauces. Waiters seemed to be amateurs not professionals as we had to remind them repeatedly we did not have water. Worst of it all, it was expensive as hell.

D C: Great place to relax in the nice part of San Jose CR. Great ambience, friendly staff, tasty food, great mimosa! I was very pleased with the quality and the quantity of the food. Great experience coming to this place! Prices compare to Seattle are a little cheaper.

Eva Eger: Coffe tastes really bad. People who know good coffee should not get one here! Place looks cute and fancy, thought you will taste that in the coffee too. But no, won’t recommend having your coffee here

Sabor y Café: what do users think?

Bartosz Brozek: Home style cooking type of restaurant with good deals on lunch sets (soup, main and a small cake). Coffee is also very good

Alexandre Laflamme: Makes all other restaurants in the area Obsolete. I was expecting the portions and price to be good, but I was surprised by how delicious it all was too. I was able to get a full plate of food for only 3000 Colones. The customer service is also amazing. There was a man who took the time to explain what our options were, and make recommendations despite being busy. All in English for us. This will definitely be my go-to restaurant whenever I am in the area. I recommend it to all.

Ward Harmon: Awesome cafe! Great desserts and coffee drinks. The carrot cake was unlike any other. Must visit!

La Mancha: what do users think?

William Viquez: Both espresso and cappuccino were perfect. Balanced espresso with floral hints and soft aftertaste. The cappuccino’s temperature was spot on, and the milk-espresso ratio was just right. I also tried the empanada Argentina, it was good. I will revisit and recommend Café La Mancha.

Cord Thomas: Great little cafe in the center of San Jose. They even have almond milk which is a huge bonus! We had a vegan latte that was fantastic, and their iced cappuccino, which surprised us that it was sweet, but was still very good. Quite a lot of sketchy individuals coming in and out of the courtyard though. Would have preferred to sit inside. In any case, very enjoyable experience and they dealt with our bad Spanish very well.

El Tostador: what do users think?

Ace Handler: Very nice spot on Independence Day, not too busy and good coffee & treats. Good place to watch the Ticoaction 🙂

Anny: First time I came here I ordered Cafe con leche, croissant and apple strudel and they were amazing. The baked goods were nicely toasted, especially the croissant. The second time I came here I had a different experience. I ordered the same coffee but it wasn’t hot enough. I had the potato strudel and apple strudel and both tasted like they were microwaved leaving the texture too soft. Needs consistency here.

Preston Pope: Super quaint little cafe in the city. A nice little sanctuary off the busy street. Decor inside and out was wonderful and really brought the beauty of Costa Rica into the city. Staff was super nice and indulged my less that stellar Spanish attempts 😂 Oh, and great coffee!
